Easter, May to October inclusive, Christmas and New year: £395
All other times: £275 [175]
May to October weeks are Saturday to Saturday, whole weeks only. November to April weeks are Friday to Friday, with minimum 3-night breaks available. We may sometimes accept a different start day; do ask.
Prices are inclusive of electricity and wood for the stove. Extra days beyond a week pro rata. Very sorry, but no dogs.
Booking:
Please phone or email to check availability. A booking is secured by a deposit of £100 for each week, with the balance due 4 weeks before you are due to arrive (we do not send reminders). We will confirm your booking on receipt of the deposit, and will send directions on receipt of the balance.
Additional information:
Please supply your own linen, towels and tea-towels (single duvets, pillows and blankets are provided); if this is difficult, a set can be provided for £20.
The cottage is designed for 2 adults, and you must discuss with us if you intend anything other than this. Occasionally couples bring a baby; this is fine for a small baby who is not mobile, but the cottage is not safe for crawlers, toddlers and small children because of various hazards such as an unguarded wood-burning stove, stair balustrading which is not childproof, and a climbable edge to the upstairs gallery bedroom.
We can sometimes meet trains.
For the benefit of the majority, no smoking indoors.
It is about 70 metres from where you can park your car (off the road) to the door of the cottage.
